So, I’m not really sure where to begin with this.

Hamburger Helper, makers of some supremely questionable, cancer-in-a-box dinners, dropped an entire rap mixtape for April Fools.

They didn’t just take the easy way out, write some dumb blog post, then promote it throughout social media to #fool everyone, they actually created an entire rap album.

Entitled Watch the Stove (heh), it comes complete with its own album art, even proclaiming a Parental Advisory because of “Delicious Content”.

But the craziest thing about this? It’s actually pretty good.

I’d hardly claim to be any kind of expert on hip-hop, but the beats are pretty catchy, and the lyrics are downright funny.

Don’t believe me? Have a listen and see for yourself.

Tell me that didn’t get your head boppin’.

My personal favorite is the first track, “Feed the Streets”. That stuff goes HARD. (or something)

This whole thing is another reminder that even if you have an objectively terrible product, people will buy it, so long as you create a memorable experience around it.
