It is a common misconception that websites made with Weebly simply cannot be made to look very good. True, for the longest time, Weebly’s themes were sorely lacking in creativity and beauty.

Thankfully, there are a few 3rd party developers that offer some truly awesome Weebly themes and templates. Here, we will take a look at the finest examples of websites made with these themes. All the websites you see here were made using Weebly, and a theme or template from a 3rd party developer.

Conclusion

So, are you convinced yet? If you’re still not, there are a few other options you could use to build a free website, including Wix, Squarespace, Jimdo, and WordPress. If you’re not going to go with Weebly, WordPress is my second choice. Bear in mind that it is definitely more complicated.

These are all really good for inspiration if you are trying to create your own website. I am trying to create my own website and some of these really helped! My website is more of like a blog, not a business website. I do my best to keep it polished, so don’t be afraid to check it out! I explain how to be creative and tips for teenagers. Thanks! 🙂

Nice article but you should have checked some of your old links before publishing.
Div Tag templates is no longer in business they have not been providing any templates since the weebly carbon update more than a year ago.

The recent Weebly 4 update has seen a big change introduced in how themes are built making it easier for developers to offer options within the theme itself, the user just clicks a button to make the theme full width or default width plus lots of other options like sections, backgrounds, parallax plus all the new apps to add on.

I like Weebly and the update has really made it rock.

My website built with weebly using a modified std theme just follow the link below.

At the time of publishing this post, Divtag was still up and just listed as “temporarily discontinued sales”. I was hesitant to remove all mention of them since they could come back at any moment. Now, with the site down, it is much clearer that they are done for good. I will update my posts accordingly.

Weebly’s latest update is fantastic. I wrote about it in depth in my full review of Weebly 4.

Your site is a good start, but the flow is very disjointed and hard to follow. The Call to Action is not clear enough. I would suggest simplifying it significantly.

      Thanks for reading!

Hi Patrick – I’m trying to find a Weebly compatible theme that offers “Mega Menu” capability. I’m doing a website that needs to have a navigation menu where a large box opens up showing various headers with sub menus – similar to this menu (created in WordPress):
    http://pugs.org/

Weebly offers all the other features I need for my client – (private membership login capability – multiple layers of drop down menus) but the one thing I’m still searching for is this “mega menu” style navigation. I’ve previewed all the Weebly themes and looked at numerous demos from 3rd party developers and have yet to see this kind of menu offered- anywhere – but maybe I’m overlooking something. If you or your readers have seen a Weebly compatible theme that offers this – I’d be most grateful to know about it.

All the best and thanks for the wonderful website. Daniel in Nashville

      Thanks Daniel.

Unfortunately, I’m not aware of any themes that offer this feature right now. My advice to you would be to contact Baamboo Studios and Webfire Themes to see if it’s something that could be coded into one of their themes. If that’s something you’re comfortable with handling.

    Hi Patrick,

I was looking for some information on Weebly tips this morning when I came across your
excellent page – glad someone has put that together, especially page84!

I actually just published something on Weebly Cloud pricing – http://www.smallbusinesswebdesigns.net.au/weebly-cloud-hosting-review.html

It might make a good fit for your followers.

Either way, keep up the awesome work!
    Cheers,
